1988 espionage incident.
TITLE: March The Second / March The 2nd
LENGTH: 32 Minutes 17 Seconds
SYNOPSIS:
Set in the late 80’s, a young boy (Timothy) befriends Karl
Muller (an Internet hacker supplying US military secrets to the
Soviet KGB) only to find himself in the middle of an international
espionage ring. These two misfits find common ground, supporting
each other through hardships and potential danger. The friendship
(and Karl’s wealthy lifestyle) cannot last forever and Timothy
soon discovers the true price of spying.

This
film was filmed in and around Bloemfontein, Free State, South
Africa. The premiere was held at the University of The Free State
in partnership with the Department of Drama and Theatre Arts.
